Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') sets out the rules for how you may and may not use the TitanTrustee Platform. Violation of this AUP is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

1. Purpose

TEAVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED (“TitanTrustee”) provides the Platform to enable legitimate, lawful escrow and trust transactions. This AUP protects the integrity of the Platform, the security of all users, and TitanTrustee's compliance with applicable law.

2. Permitted Uses

The Platform may be used for:

  • Legitimate vendor and supplier payments secured by escrow (B2B procurement, services, manufacturing).
  • Marketplace buyer-protection escrow for e-commerce, D2C, gig economy, and ONDC transactions.
  • API-based escrow integration for co-lending, P2P platforms, gaming escrows, insurance payouts, and other lawful fintech use cases (subject to applicable regulations).
  • Business-to-business milestone-based payments.
  • Any other lawful transaction type approved in writing by TitanTrustee.

3. Prohibited Uses

3.1 Illegal & Financial Crime

  • Transactions involving proceeds of crime, money laundering, or terrorist financing.
  • Structuring transactions to avoid AML/KYC thresholds.
  • Transactions involving persons or entities on sanctions, OFAC, UN, or Indian government watchlists.
  • Transactions that violate FEMA, PMLA, RBI guidelines, or any applicable law.
  • Tax evasion, under-invoicing, or any other fraudulent financial activity.

3.2 Fraud & Deception

  • Creating fictitious, sham, or fraudulent escrow transactions.
  • Impersonating any person, business, or authority.
  • Submitting forged, fabricated, or altered documents during KYB/KYC or dispute resolution.
  • Providing false or misleading information at any stage of the Platform's use.

3.3 Prohibited Transaction Categories

  • Adult content, pornography, or escort services.
  • Gambling, betting, or wagering (unless explicitly permitted by applicable law and pre-approved by TitanTrustee).
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or controlled substances.
  • Counterfeit goods, pirated software, or any goods/services infringing third-party intellectual property.
  • Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or multi-level marketing without proper legal registration.
  • Cryptocurrency transactions (except where explicitly approved by TitanTrustee in writing and compliant with RBI guidelines).
  • Personal loans disguised as commercial escrows.

3.4 Technical Abuse

  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform or its APIs.
  • Uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, or malicious code.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data on the Platform.
  • Circumventing rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
  • Automated scraping, crawling, or data harvesting without prior written consent.
  • Denial-of-service attacks or any activity that degrades Platform performance.

3.5 Misuse of Dispute Mechanism

  • Raising false, frivolous, or vexatious disputes.
  • Submitting fabricated evidence in a dispute.
  • Using disputes as a tool for coercion or extortion.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • All activities conducted through your account and API keys.
  • Ensuring all counter-parties you transact with are aware of and comply with this AUP.
  • Keeping your account credentials, API keys, and secrets secure and confidential.
  • Reporting any suspected violation of this AUP to TitanTrustee immediately at legal@titantrustee.com.

5. Enforcement

TitanTrustee may take the following actions upon a suspected or confirmed AUP violation:

  • Immediate suspension of the user's account and all in-progress transactions.
  • Freezing of Escrow Funds pending investigation.
  • Permanent termination of the account.
  • Reporting to FIU-IND (STR filing), law enforcement, RBI, or any other relevant authority.
  • Civil legal action for damages, injunctive relief, or other remedies.

TitanTrustee will cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulatory agencies investigating AUP violations.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any misuse of the Platform by another user or third party, please report it immediately to: legal@titantrustee.com

TitanTrustee takes all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Your identity will be protected to the extent permitted by law.

7. Updates to This Policy

This AUP may be updated periodically to reflect new services, regulatory changes, or emerging risks. Updates will be published at titantrustee.com/legal/acceptable-use and notified via email to registered users.
